Art for the Heart

“Art for the Heart” was LemonDrop’s February First Friday gallery show last Friday. This was an awesome show put together by John Worcester & Joe Oelke. The show featured urban art and music by local Springfield talent. Several raffles were held throughout the night, and all of the money was donated to Saving Tiny Hearts, an organization dedicated to helping kids with congenital heart defects. Excellent show for an excellent cause!

I almost peed my pants laughing when I saw this piece by Joe Oelke.

So many people stopping by.

Nothing like some groovin’ in the gallery! Are they not the cutest?

Aaand after a nice visit to the gallery… it was time for a drank with the gals. The lovely miss Mackenzie Moore was in town so it was only appropriate that we celebrate a little! The amusing thing to me was that since the weather had been bad, several of the galleries were closed… the bars however were packed! Guess it’s important to have your priorities straight. 🙂
